An exciting career opportunity has arisen for an Assistant: Human Resources based in a small HR team based at the Town Hall. Full training will be provided. You will be responsible for coordinating and responding to front line HR enquiries and will need to deal sensitively with employees. The role is varied and includes wider administrative responsibilities for the democratic service and corporate team in supporting business improvement. You will need to be well organised, and methodical, and be able to prioritise competing work pressures.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the provision of the HR function, with particular focus on ensuring policies are communicated. The successful candidate will assist in providing high quality support to staff and managers throughout the Council.
Day to day duties include HR and administration, proactively managing and maintaining complete employee records and dealing with front line customer enquiries.
