Assistant: Registrar for Weddings and Civil Partnerships

Would you like to be part of a couple’s special day? The Council of the Isles of Scilly have an exciting opening for outgoing individuals to join our team of assistant registrars to conduct weddings and civil partnerships.

 Working with the Superintendent Registrar, the post holder will provide essential support in the provision of an effective Registration Service for the Islands.

The ability to comply with complex legislation, excellent communication and customer care skills are all essential. Experience of public speaking is also important.

Due to the nature of the work, the post holder may also be asked to work at short notice which may include weekends and bank holidays.
