Operative: Waste & Recycling (Fixed Term)

Are you a self-motivated individual who is an excellent team player?  We are recruiting for a Waste and Recycling Operative to join our small team to support in the delivery of waste management services on our islands.

As part of our friendly, hardworking team responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of the Council’s waste management services, this role requires flexibility and covers all areas of waste management, both commercial and domestic.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with the public, have an understanding of health and safety regulations, COSHH and be able to prioritise variable daily duties according to the time of year. A variety of training opportunities are available in this role to develop skills in waste management operations.
