Is Council and EU funding working for you? Have your say.

AMION Consulting Ltd have been commissioned by the Council of the Isles of Scilly to evaluate the impact of 4 major regeneration projects financed by the Council, the European Union and the Duchy of Cornwall. Knowing what you think will help shape the future design and delivery of other projects to improve the economy and quality of life on the Islands. The projects being evaluated are:

1. Porthcressa Regeneration: improvements to the infrastructure and environment of the Porthcressa area on St Mary’s (including frontage, Tourist Information Centre, Library and business units).

2. Airport Redevelopment: refurbishment of the terminal building on St Mary’s and improvement to the runways at St Mary’s and Land’s End.

3. Porthloo Boat Park: improvements to the slipway, boatyard and sea defense improvements in conjunction with the Duchy of Cornwall.

4. Porthmellon Innovation and Enterprise Centre (PIE): new purpose-built workspaces and business hub at Porthmellon Industrial Estate.

To assess the value of these projects we need to know what residents think the impacts have been. Telling us what you think, will help shape the design and delivery of future projects to improve quality of life on the Islands.

To give your views, please complete the short online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/IslesOfScilly_ResidentsSurvey

Hard copies of the survey are available on request from the Town Hall, library and airport.

The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete and your answers will be completely anonymous. Surveys must be completed/posted by Friday 8 April 2016.
