Sex establishment policy consultation

The Council is required under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 to review its Sex Establishment Policy on a regular basis.

The current Policy is now being reviewed and takes into account changes that have occurred to the legislation and the statutory guidance since the last publication of the Policy in 2011.

The full public consultation will run until 3 October 2016 and the Council invites you to comment on the draft Policy. Consultation responses can suggest amendments, deletions or additions as considered appropriate.

All consultation responses will be referred to the Licensing Committee at its meeting on 13 October 2016 to review and recommend a fully revised Policy to Council for adoption.

Please look at the attached Draft Policy and let us have any comments by 3 October 2016 preferably by email to licensing@scilly.gov.uk.
