The Porthmellon Waste Site will be closed every Tuesday from 28 July until at least 6 October 2015 for the acceptance of Household (Domestic) Waste.
The closure of the site for one day a week is essential for operational reasons to allow sufficient time to process and move waste during the development of the new Household Waste & Recycling Centre (HWRC). The waste site will remain open for the acceptance of Household (Domestic Waste) on Thursday’s from 13.00-16.45.
Commercial waste acceptance and collection rounds will continue as normal.
