Reducing Food Waste

WRAP is calling for all restaurants and food outlets to reduce the amount of food waste that is being generated. It is a well-respected organisation that focuses on reducing waste for positive environmental and economic benefits whilst encouraging a circular economy through partnership working.

WRAP works with governments, businesses and communities to deliver practical solutions to improve resource efficiency.

Their mission is to accelerate the move to a sustainable, resource-efficient economy by:

  • re-inventing how we design, produce and sell products, 

  • re-thinking how we use and consume products, and 

  • re-defining what is possible through re-use and recycling
