Come & join us at St Mary’s Library this Saturday 19th July 10am –12pm to launch this year’s Mythical Maze Summer Reading Challenge 2014.
The fun begins at 10am with a story time session with Rachel Easterbrook followed by a fun filled morning of face painting, cakes and biscuits, colouring in our Mythical Monsters to display on our wall of fame, puzzles, word searches & our Mythical Creature Character Hunt.
Bring an Ipad/android phone with you, download the free app & watch the characters come to life as you find them!! (we will have an Ipad available at the library for those who don't have such a device)
The Summer Reading Challenge (for 4-11 year olds) is completely FREE & is a fun way to encourage your child to read over the summer holidays.
Sign up at the library and receive a free poster to start them off, each time they read 2 books they will receive a set of stickers and other incentives along the way.
If your child completes the 6 book challenge they will receive their very own medal and certificate and go into the draw to win a £30 Amazon voucher!! Finish date is Saturday 13th September 2014...Happy Reading!!
