We are recruiting for a Customer Services Supervisor. This a new supervisory role which will help improve, develop and modernise customer service within the council.
As part of an existing team, you will supervise day to day Customer Services operations across the council including St Mary’s library. The role will also assist the Head of Learning, Leisure and Customer Services in developing strategies, policies and procedures to improve and develop the Customer Service offering.
This is a full-time permanent role which holds Customer Service and communication skills at its core. The Supervisor will not only be at the front line of customer and community interaction but be responsible for leading and managing the current team.
To succeed in this position you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a proven understanding of excellent Customer Service delivery and ideally the experience of managing people to success in a previous role.

We are happy to talk flexible working. The Customer Services Supervisor will be required to cover shifts and would be required to work one evening a week until 8pm and two Saturdays in three from 10.00 to 13.00.
