Housing & Tenant Liaison Officer - Fixed Term

Do you have strong negotiation and communication skills? Do you have the knowledge and experience required for a Housing position within the Council of the Isles of Scilly?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing and Tenant Liaison Officer on an initial 6 month fixed term contract with potential to extend. The successful applicant will be able to provide technical, practical knowledge and experience of the operational requirements of the service with a focus on providing efficient, responsive and sensitive housing management.

You will be required to assist in managing the delivery of the maintenance of the Council housing stock, rents and tenancy agreements as well as advising the Council on its responsibilities under the Homelessness Acts.

If you have strong analytical skills and the ability to handle sensitive and protected information then this role is for you. There will be a high degree of contact with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high quality service.
