Senior Licensing Officer

ARE YOU A MOTIVATED PROFESSIONAL WITH KNOWLEDGE OF LICENSING AND LEGISLATION?

The Council of the Isles of Scilly are looking for an experienced professional to support the delivery of the Council's statutory licensing services.

This role will provide technical expertise within the licensing function and ensure regulatory compliance within the Directorate.

The role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Carrying out licensing enforcement responsibilities
  • Inputting into the Council's statutory requirements for licensing
  • Assisting in the management of financial aspects of licensing, e.g. fees
  • Working to develop enforcement strategies and programmes
  • Assisting in the provision of a comprehensive licensing service

The incoming Senior Licensing Officer will have knowledge of experience of licensing objectives and procedures for areas such as alcohol, gambling and entertainment.
