We have now consulted the Environment Agency, Natural England and Historic England and the Marine Management Organisation. You can view the consultation responses online. Based on comments, particularly from Natural England, we have not yet determined whether an EIA is required in connection with this application. In order that we are able to consider this further I would request that you contact Natural England’s Discretionary Advice Service (https://www.gov.uk/discretionary-advice-service-get-advice-on-planning-proposals-affecting-the- natural-environment-in-england ) to determine what additional assessments would be required to understand the potential impacts of this proposal. If we can be satisfied that the environmental impacts of this proposal are acceptable and an EIA is not required then we would be aiming to take this application to the next planning committee on 21st September.
