The Council has a statutory responsibility to provide a Home to School Travel for children who meet a number of conditions. The Council carries out its duties by providing daily travel for primary aged students who live on Bryher to the Tresco and Bryher base, and a weekly return journey to St. Mary's for secondary aged students who live on the off-islands to attend the St. Mary’s base.
There may be some exceptional circumstances where home to school travel may be available for students on their home islands.
