Housing Allocation ConsultationWe are pleased to announce the commencement of our 12-week public consultation on the review of the Social Housing Allocations Policy. This consultation will begin on Thursday 28th November 2024 and aims to gather valuable feedback from the community. We invite you to participate in our drop-in sessions, where you can learn more and share your thoughts:
In addition to the drop-in sessions, the consultation is available online here,for the full 12 week period and printed consultation feedback forms can be obtained from St May’s Library or Carn Gwarvel Well Being Centre, allowing everyone to participate at their convenience. A member of the housing team is available to assist every Wednesday between 10 AM and 12 PM during our housing drop-in session at St Mary’s library. Your input is essential in shaping our housing policy to better serve our community. Housing Advice Drop-in SessionsWe recognise that some people would like to access housing advice in person, rather than by phone or email. To make this easier for everyone we’re introducing a weekly drop-in session for the community to meet with a member of our housing team. The drop-in sessions will take place from 10am-12pm at St Mary’s Library every Wednesday. The drop-in sessions are intended to answer any queries about:
If this proves popular or there are requests for similar sessions to be held elsewhere or at different times, we will consider this too. We also welcome feedback on the service, including suggestions for improvement. As the Library is a public space, we are unable to discuss confidential matters at these sessions.
