Planning Policy

The Council of the Isles of Scilly, as the Planning Authority for the area, has a statutory duty to prepare, monitor and review a Local Plan for the islands. 

January 2026: Moving on to a New Local Plan, we are currently in the evidence gathering and preparatory stages of replacing our adopted local plan. For information on that process and how and when to get involved, please follow the link below:
