Old Broadband Router Recycling

If you have upgraded to superfast broadband you will no doubt be receiving a new Router / BT Home Hub.  Your internet provider will advise you how to dispose of your old router: they may ask you to send it back to them for recycling or ask you to recycle it locally. If you decide to recycle it on the islands you can either take it down to Porthmellon Waste Site during the residential opening hours (Tuesdays and Thursdays between 13.00 and 16.45), to your off-island waste site (see locally for opening times) or you can bring it to the Town Hall One Stop Shop. If you have any queries about recycling please get in touch with us by emailing infrastructure@scilly.gov.uk or by telephone (01720) 424000.
