Please note that the library is running on reduced hours until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic

Due to current restrictions we are not offering any of our extra facilities or events and we are only allowing residents of the Islands to use the library services. We appologise for any inconvienience this may cause. 

We are now in Phase 2 of reopening the Library. This means that:

  • We will be allowing two people in the building at a time
  • We are now open longer hours (please see below)
  • ​General Council payments can be made by card or cheque. Cash is still not being accepted.

Regular Events and Activities

  • Computer support (small fee) every Thursday, 10am to 12 noon
  • Story time, songs and crafts for the under 5s, monthly
  • University of the Third Age (U3A) meetings
  • Telling tales: adult storytelling/social event, fortnightly on Thursdays, 2pm to 3pm
