Due to the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic, the laws that govern how local authority meetings take place has been amended to ensure public safety, and to retain transparency of local authority decisions.
Until further notice, meetings of the local authority will be held 'virtually, with remote attendance by councillors, and remote access of press and public, and will be held in accordance with the provisions of The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus)(Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Police and Crime Panel Meetings)(England and Wales) Regulations 2020.
Councillors take part in the meeting via Skype or by phone. Members of the press and the public are entitled to attend this virtual meeting and the details of how to do so will be published on this page on the day of the meeting, or sometimes in advance.
