Please be aware that after planning permission is granted, you must inform the Planning Department of the date you intend to start work. This is a legal requirement under Section 93G of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
It is suggested you provide at least 7 days’ notice. This will allow the Council to monitor the discharge of and compliance with conditions and provide guidance as necessary.
The certificate to inform the Planning Department that you intend to commence work can be found on the last page of your decision notice.
