The Council of the Isles of Scilly aims to work with local businesses and the community to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle as much of the island’s waste as possible.

The Council is working hard to improve current rates of diversion through reduction and recycling. A recycling service has already been implemented to the Off Islands and a recycling round for St Mary's is being implemented in December 2018. We are excited that our diversion rate has hit 30% this year.
