Adult Education Tutor

Do you have a passion for your subject area and feel you could engage and inspire adult learners?

Adult education teachers are important advocates for instilling skills and confidence in adults who wish to engage in further learning, advance skills to gain employment or simply improve wellbeing and social inclusion.

This post provides an exciting opportunity for the right candidate(s) to support the work of the Learn Scilly team. We are particularly interested in applications for locally based tutors experienced in teaching Languages, Arts and crafts, Horticulture and The Humanities, but would also welcome applications from those with expertise in other areas.

The successful applicant(s) will have excellent verbal and communication skills as well as the creativity to plan and deliver classes on the islands. It is not essential that the applicant holds a teaching qualification but a willingness to achieve an appropriate qualification is essential.
