Housing Assistant

Are you someone with strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, well-motivated with an excellent attention to detail?

An exciting career opportunity has arisen to recruit a new Housing Assistant to the small housing team. 

You will be responsible for assisting in the effective delivery of the housing service and sensitively responding to front line housing enquiries from our customers. 

The role is varied and the successful applicant will assist with all aspects of the service including general administration duties, tenant engagement, supporting the development of the housing service and working across the wider asset management team.

You will need to be well organised, and methodical, and be able to prioritise competing work pressures. 

The successful candidate will assist in providing support to staff and managers throughout the Council as well as service users. Day to day duties include administration, proactive support in the management and maintenance of various housing functions and dealing with front line customer enquiries on a daily basis.
