The following arrangements have been made to mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday this year:
Friday 10 November 2023
St Martin's
A Service of Remembrance will take place at 2.45pm at St Martin's Methodist Chapel, followed by an Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at the Church.
Armistice Day, Saturday 11 November 2023
Tresco
An Act of Remembrance will take place at 10.50am at the Tresco War Memorial.
St Mary's
An Act of Remembrance will take place at 10.55am at the War Memorial in the Park in Hugh Town.
Remembrance Sunday, Sunday 12 November 2023
St Mary's
A Service of Remembrance will take place at 10.00am in the Five Islands Academy Performance Hall.
This service will be followed by an Act of Remembrance at Old Town Church War Memorial.
St Agnes
A Service of Remembrance will take place at 10.30am at St Agnes Church and War Memorial.
