Council payment system will be down from 6pm on 11 October until 9am on 14 October 2021

[UPDATE: 15 October 2021 - we are pleased to confirm that our payment system is now up and running again. Thank you for bearing with us while the service was unavailable. If you have any concerns about payments, please get in touch so we can address them as soon as possible.]


We have been made aware that a necessary upgrade to our payment system will take place between 6pm on Monday, 11 October and 9am on Thursday, 14 October. This means that we will be unable to take any payments over the phone, for any council-run service, during this period. Our teams will still be able to accept cash (up to £250) and cheque payments whilst the payment system is down, but we will only be able to offer paper receipts until the system is up and running again.

If a billing payment deadline falls during this period, or if you are planning to pay for a council service (for example a session at the gym or pool) or product (such as commercial waste sacks) on these days, please aim to make your payment in advance.
