We would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to communicate with both officers and elected Members of the Council on the issue of post-16 training and education arrangements.
We can confirm that the Council is aware of the concerns and issues raised by parents whose children are undertaking post-16 training and education at this time, as well as those parents and children who are approaching this stage of their development in the next year or two.
It is the Council’s intention to formally review the position at the meeting of Full Council on 30 July 2024. Reports presented at this meeting will contain all of the facts and legal advice required to ensure that a full and proper review, which addresses the concerns raised by parents, is conducted.
