A Flood Warning has been issued by the Environment Agency for the Isles of Scilly.
Flooding is possible over the high tides on the mornings of Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 December.
The time of high water at St. Marys on Saturday morning is at 05:00hrs with a total water level of 5.91m which includes a surge of 0.11m. Winds are South South Westerly Force 7 with off shore wave heights of up to 5.1m.
The time of high water on Sunday morning is 05:45hrs with a total water level of 5.8m. Winds are South South Westerly Force 6 with offshore wave heights of up to 3.5m.
Gale Force winds and large waves may lead to spray overtopping at exposed coastal locations.
General advice is to exercise extreme caution due to sea state conditions.
