More than 80% of local people have already responded to their household enquiry form asking for details of eligible voters at their address. Unfortunately however there are still around 200 households that have failed to respond, either to the original form sent on 28 September 2018 or the reminder sent on 1 November 2018.
Consequently we will be making home visits to each of these properties from next week with a view to collecting the necessary information. This is an expensive process which means the Council has less money to spend elsewhere.
If you have not yet completed your household enquiry form, please do so as quickly as possible.
It is a legal requirement to respond to the household enquiry form. If you don’t, you could be fined £1,000.
