A Flood Warning has been issued by the Environment Agency for the Isles of Scilly.
Flooding is expected for Isles of Scilly including St Mary's, St Agnes, Bryher, Tresco and St Martins Monday afternoon.
Forecast tide levels and sea conditions for the Isles of Scilly, for this evening’s and tomorrow mornings tide, may possibly cause impacts including risk to life, damage and flooding to property in the immediate vicinity of the coast In liaison with the Council of the Isles of Scilly, a Flood Warning is issued for the following date and time of High Water:
Monday 8th February 2016 at 1642: Peak Water level 2.64m ; Peak Wave Height 11.7m; Wave Period 12 Secs; Wave Direction Westerly; Wind: Westerly Force 7
The Environment Agency recommends that caution is exercised at least 2 hours either side of high tide due to the extreme wave climate and high water levels. In addition to wave and sea over-topping, there may be a risk of flying debris
