Isles of Scilly's proclamation of the Accession of King Charles III

The principal proclamation of the Accession of King Charles III took place at St James's Palace yesterday, Saturday, 10 September 2022. Today, further regional proclamations were made, including in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The proclamation for the Isles of Scilly took place at 3pm on Sunday, 11 September at the Old Wesleyan Chapel and was delivered by the Chairman of Council, Councillor Robert Francis.

The proclamation was well attended by both residents and visitors, as well as Council Members and officers, members of the clergy, representatives from the Police, Fire and Rescue Service, Duchy of Cornwall and local journalists.
