The Isles of Scilly Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority (IFCA) are hosting an event at the Wesleyan Chapel on Monday 15 December from 11am to 2pm to publicise their conservation and monitoring work. (Please note the change in date from previously advertised).
The event will include a presentation, demonstrations and a 'touch tank' containing live shellfish. Light refreshments will also be provided.
All stakeholders including hobby fishermen, commercial fishermen, restaurateurs and interested members of the public are invited attend. The team will explain the aims of their tagging projects and how the work is helping to monitor and conserve marine stocks around our coastline.
