Please note that the water works planned for the 5th and 6th of January will NOT be going ahead.
The works had been scheduled in order to repair and replace a hydrant and residents were warned that this may cause a disruption to their water supply. However, due to a leak forming at the damaged hydrant it was necessary for emergency repairs to be undertaken today instead, while the system remained ‘live’.
We are pleased to announce that as a result of these emergency repairs, and barring any unforeseen events, there will be no planned disruption to the water supply on the 5th and 6th January.
