Proclamation of the Accession of King Charles III

Residents are invited to witness the Isles of Scilly’s proclamation of the Accession of King Charles III, which will take place on Sunday 11 September at 3pm at the Old Wesleyan Chapel.

Councillor Robert Francis, Chairman of the Council of the Isles of Scilly, will read the proclamation for the Isles of Scilly.

The Union Flag on the Town Hall has been raised to full mast to mark the principal proclamation of King Charles III at St James’s Palace this morning. It will remain at full mast until 1pm on Sunday 11 September, at which time it will return to being flown at half mast.
