The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind from 20:00 today (19 August 2020) through to 04:00 on Friday 21 August 2020:
Due to high tides and wind direction, this could result in flooding, particularly in the Porthcressa and Old Town areas of St Mary's.
The Council is putting up storm boards and is monitoring the situation, but please take extra care during this period.
