The government are encouraging all members of the public, wherever they are, to participate in 2 minutes silence at 3pm on this day.
On Saturday 9 May at 10:30am, Canon Paul Miller will be running a short service to mark the occasion at the Parish Church on St. Mary's prior to the ringing of the Church Bells at 11am; Bishop Christopher Budd will also give a short address.
