Further to our recent update on the drinking water supply, the new water saving bags to help residents and businesses reduce their water usage have now arrived. These water saving devices are designed to be placed in a toilet cistern and will save 1.2 litres of water with every flush (and money too, for customers who are metered). They are FREE to all Isles of Scilly residents and businesses and can be collected from the Town Hall. Pop in during One Stop Shop Opening hours to collect yours. They are simple to install, but if you require assistance we will do our best to help you.
The new Save Water for a Rainless Day leaflets are currently at the printers and will soon be available to residents and businesses across the islands. In the meantime, feel free to use and share this electronic copy. You can print, share on social media or use on your website. The printed leaflets will be free to everyone and we are taking advance orders now from businesses and accommodation providers so that we can distribute the leaflets as soon as they arrive.
