Please be advised that works on Telegraph road will continue today, Wednesday, after the last tourist bus has passed at around 2:15 pm.
The resurfacing works will continue from the previously laid surface working towards Hugh Town, passing the junction for High Lanes and proceeding to Longstone Corner. Work require the rolling closure of this road and will continue until 7:30 – 8:00 pm tonight after which the road will be reopened.
On Thursday morning works will commence at around 07:30 and continue to around 11:00 am when the road will be re-opened for the tourist buses.
On Wednesday – from 2 pm to 8 pm for journeys to & from Hugh Town – McFarland’s Down please pass either via Porthloo or the Eastern side of the island and Pungies Lane
On Thursday - from 8 am to 11 am - for journeys to & from Hugh Town – McFarland’s Down route as above.
