The well-attended public meeting held at the Town Hall, St Mary’s, on Tuesday November 18th was the last in the current series of meetings held across all the inhabited islands. Residents had the opportunity to put their questions to both Members and Officers, including the Chairman and Chief Executive.
Topics have ranged from the recent restructure, sea defences, communications, transport links, airport works, noise pollution, Superfast broadband and residential care. The Chief Executive also took the opportunity to dispel certain local myths.
