The council is carrying out a consultation into how we support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including eligibility thresholds.
We have reviewed our guidance in line with recent changes in legislation and a copy of the proposed SEND Guidance for the Council of the Isles of Scilly can be found at the following link:
In order to incorporate any amendments arising from this consultation I would be grateful if you could take time to review the guidance and send your feedback by Friday 13 January 2017. Following this, the document will be submitted for ratification at the council’s Children’s Committee.
