Update on the Council of the Isles of Scilly Scrutiny Committee consultation regarding coronavirus

The Scrutiny Committee consultation has yielded nearly 350 responses – thank you to everyone who has taken time to respond.

We are currently analysing these responses and will share the results ahead of the scrutiny meeting on 10 June. In the meantime, full details of all the reports that will be presented at the meeting can be found at the following link:

The Chairman of the Scrutiny Committee, Cllr Avril Mumford says “Thank you everyone who has replied to the consultation, it’s been an amazing response and I know my colleagues are also delighted. My thanks also to the officers involved and my colleagues for their support. I know everyone, like me, is itching to see the results, and these will be published on the council’s website when they are ready.  There is a lot of information to go through to make sure everyone’s views are fairly represented. Meanwhile, stay safe everyone. I know there is a lot of uncertainty at the moment, but there is a lot of work going on to support the future of the islands!”
