The Council is working to ensure that its public toilets will be open as soon as possible, in line with government guidance.
Please remember that thorough hand washing and abiding by the latest social distancing advice from government is still the most effective way to protect against the spread of coronavirus.
St Mary's
The disabled facility on The Strand, which includes baby changing, is already open 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm.
The facility at Porthcressa is undergoing modifications to minimise the potential for transmission of any viruses and we hope to be able to reopen soon.
Off-islands
We are preparing the facilities on St Agnes, Bryher and St Martins to be open by 4 July. However, following the period of closure some additional works are required to ensure the safety of users, which may delay the intended openings.
