Do you have excellent communication skills? Can you build trusting, positive relationships? Are you an enthusiastic, compassionate individual who enjoys supporting others?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Casual Assistant Residential/Community Care Worker to join our award-winning team, providing care and support to residents living at Islands View Residential Home and older adults living in the community.
You will support people to live dignified, meaningful lives, helping them achieve the outcomes identified in their personalised care plans. You will work in accordance with Care Quality Commission standards and Health and Safety regulations to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
If you are someone who naturally shows warmth, kindness and support towards others, then this role could be for you.
Accommodation on the Isles of Scilly is in limited supply and applicants should consider this before applying. The Council does not routinely provide housing; however, in exceptional circumstances and for certain critical roles, limited accommodation support may be available, subject to availability and separate approval.
Please note: All applicants must provide evidence of their right to work in the UK prior to interview.
