The Isles of Scilly Multi Agency Forum is a collaborative working group across multi agency partners to ensure plans are in place, exercised and reviewed together in order to achieve positive outcomes in a coordinated way in the event of an incident on the Isles of Scilly.
The aims and objectives of the Multi Agency Forum;
- To deliver an integrated emergency response function for the Isles of Scilly.
- To regularly review and update the emergency planning, resilience and response plans for the islands.
- To plan and deliver multi agency exercises and shared learning opportunities in line with organisational requirements.
- To reassure the public we are working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for our community as a result of an incident.
The Multi Agency Forum will adopt the JESIP model and principles to multi-agency working which emphasise the need to work in a joint and coordinated way. The JESIP model incorporates the five principles of working; collocate, communicate, coordinate, jointly understand risk and shared situational awareness.
