The Gym is located at The Carn Gwaval Wellbeing Centre.
What We Offer?
Our gym is installed with state of the art Cybex equipment. This includes treadmills, arc trainers, bikes, weights machines, a freedom rack and free weights. We also have four Concept 2 rowing machines. Pop in or contact us to sign up and to arrange an induction with one of our fully qualified gym instructors.
If you are new to using a gym, we will give you a FREE induction, showing you how to use the equipment safely and effectively. If you are a regular gym user, feel free to use any of the available equipment at your own pace.
Prices for 2024/25
From 1st April 2024 the cost is £5.70 per session for Adult Active Scilly members (see Active Scilly page for details about membership prices), £7.80 per session for Adult Non-Members.
The cost for a Child (anyone under the age of 18) or for Concessions* is £4.00 per session for Active Scilly Members or £5.50 per session for Non-Members.
*Concessionary rates are available to people in receipt of the following benefits:
Employment & support allowance; Jobseekers allowance; Income support; Council Tax benefit; Housing benefit; Working Tax credit; Pension guarantee credit; Carers allowance; Universal credit; Personal independence payment. You will be asked to provide evidence in order to be charged at the concessionary rate.

GYM TIMETABLE
Manned gym is for existing and new users, visitors, under 18’s and general enquiries.
Un-manned gym sessions are only open to monthly unlimited usage package holders, that have completed the un-manned access induction and paperwork.

PLEASE NOTE: The minimum age for fitness centre usage and classes is 14. A parent or other responsible adult must be on the premises while 14 and 15 year olds attend during general session times, unless they have completed full induction of safe gym usage and conduct.
