Residents across the islands should have received a letter containing information relating to the new Individual Election Register.
Under the new system each person will be required to register to vote individually rather than by household. Under the old system, one person in every household was responsible for registering everyone else who lived at that address.
Registration is quick and simple. It will mean you have the right to vote at elections and being registered could also improve your credit rating. Some residents will receive confirmation that they need not do anything while others will be advised to fill out a form and return it (freepost) to the Deputy Registration Officer at the Town Hall. Either way, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any assistance
You can call us on 01720 424358, email email@example.com or pop into the Town Hall and ask to speak to a member of staff.
