NEW CONSULTATION PERIOD ON AMENDED PLANS RUNNING UNTIL 26th OCTOBER 2023
PROPOSAL: The conservation, upgrading and extension, including a change of use of a Grade II listed 1887 Town Hall to provide a new cultural centre and museum for the Isles of Scilly. Includes the demolition of the existing modern boiler house and the reconfiguration of the existing 1970s extension including a new roof to accommodate new air source heat pumps. Integration of the Parade Cottage Outbuilding into the Cultural Centre and Museum and link extension in part of Parade Cottage yard. Minor alterations to the back elevation of Parade Cottage. MAIN AMENDMENTS 28/09/2023 - Inclusion of detailed elevations showing the works to the rear of Parade Cottage, re-roofing of Parade Cottage outbuilding and an increase in size of east side extension to close gap to the outbuilding.
