The assisted collection scheme is intended to help people who have difficulty moving their waste and recycling bins/bags to the kerbside for collection, due to ill-health, infirmity or disability.
Who qualifies?
Residents who are without occupants in the household able to assist them (16 years and over) and are unable to transport their bins/bags to the required collection point due to:
· ill health and/or
· infirmity and/or
· disability
Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis. Home visits or telephone contacts may be carried out to agree a collection point.
How do I apply?
Residents are required to complete the form attached to the bottom of this page.
