Lifeguard Courses
Normandy Swimming Pool has previously been a Nationally Accredited Training Centre, which meant that we could deliver the National Pool Lifeguard certificate (NPLQ) course here to groups of people. Most of our current lifeguard team were trained and qualified here on the Isles of Scilly.
We are currently reviewing our processes and systems for lifeguard qualification, and are currently unable to deliver courses here on Scilly, but all our lifeguarding team continue to hold the NPLQ. Please check back later in 2026 for an update on whether we are able to offer lifeguard courses going forwards.
