In 2021 the Council of the Isles of Scilly replaced the 2005 Local Plan: A 2020 Vision, with its new Local Plan: the Isles of Scilly Local Plan (2015-2030). In March 2026 we will have reached the 5 year post-adoption milestone and leading up to that we are updating our evidence base to determine whether any review is required and what steps we need to take to put in place new policies to manage the future development of the Isles of Scilly.
We will be updating this page with the work as it progresses in order to keep the community updated on our progress and the work which will inform any changes to the local plan
