Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with Section 18C of the Representation of the People Act 1983, the Council of the Isles of Scilly is carrying out a review of its polling districts and polling places.
After a preliminary review, it is proposed:
1. to retain the existing five polling districts: St Agnes, Bryher, St Martin’s, St Mary’s and Tresco
2. to retain the existing polling places within those polling districts:
St Agnes - Island Hall, New Lane, St Agnes, TR22 0PL
Bryher - Community Centre, Timmy’s Hill, Bryher, TR23 0PR
St Martin’s - Island Hall, St Martin’s Road, St Martin’s, TR25 0QN
St Mary’s - Old Wesleyan Chapel, Garrison Lane, St Mary’s, TR21 0JD
Tresco - Community Centre, Block House Lane, Tresco, TR24 0PZ
The Acting Returning Officer (ARO) for the St Ives parliamentary constituency has provided a representation which may be viewed here.

As required by legislation, we are consulting with the public as part of this review process. All electors within the St Ives parliamentary constituency may make a representation. We invite comments regarding the convenience of voting at the existing polling stations and would welcome suggestions for alternative sites.
The Council would also welcome the views of all residents, particularly disabled residents, or any person or body with expertise in access for persons with any type of disability, on the proposals, the ARO's representation or any other related matters.
We will write directly to (i) Healthwatch Isles of Scilly, (ii) the St Mary’s Health Centre, (iii) the Adult Social Care team at the Council and (iv) all members of Council inviting them to submit a representation.

The deadline for making a representation is Friday 8 November 2024.
At the end of the consultation period, all responses will be considered before a final report is submitted to Council in December 2024.
