Planning application: P/25/041/ROV

Proposal: Application to vary Condition 13 (Approved Plans) of planning permission P/23/047/COU for change of use of the Town Hall to provide a new cultural centre and museum and associated works.

Please find a list of the variations being applied for below:

  • Omission of rooflight over boat hall.
  • Slight reduction in size of rooflight over atrium.
  • Change in cladding from oak to cedar.
  • Removal of the plant screen.
  • Omission of openable doors to café gable end and removal of louvres to cladding.
  • Omission of curtain walling to north east elevation and south west elevation.
  • SVP pipe on south east elevation.
  • Elevation moved over 150mm due to initial survey of the party wall being inaccurate.
  • The utility room, Parade Cottage extension, has now been omitted.
  • Reconstruction of the existing wall North East of the Auditorium.

As part of this application, the details to satisfy Condition 2, 3 and 6 of planning permission P/23/047/COU have also been provided.
